Starting Over Age-Erasing Eye Cream with Mimosa (Origins)

Good for soft, moisturized, less crepey skin around the eyes. This product made my eye cream rotation. Also nice under makeup – not too shiny.

Cetaphil

Sometimes I’m such a snore. Like now. For a quick morning face wash, Cetaphil is it. Keep in mind I alwayssss wash my face at night, regardless of how much I drank, how tired I am, or whatever my work schedule or son might be doing to me at the time.

Starting Over Facial Moisturizer (Origins)

I cycle through my moisturizers, and this makes the cut for my day rotation. It’s a lovely moisturizer and goes on great under makeup. I could list all the bad crap it does not have in it as bragging points, or you can research it yourselves. I just like the hell out of it.

Viva Paper Towels

May the environmentalists strike me sideways for this, but I will not dry my face with a washcloth. No, ma’am. I am haunted by the imaginary dust particles that could have settled on aforementioned cloth, the residual detergent hiding deep in the denizens, and my fellow home-dwellers and/or guests who have touched my towel with More Info »

Gorgeous (Lush)

Lush also has an extravagant moisturizer called “Gorgeous” – which was quite nice and smelled heavenly. Twice the price of Shangri La

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 70

Goes on great under makeup, and doesn’t make me break out. Good price point for so much protection. A must.

Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder

Talc-free. Leaves my skin looking flawless and does not settle into fine lines. A little goes a long way and finishes my look beautifully.

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Foundation

The bomb diggety of foundation. I use it anytime I need to up my game, or I’m attending something worth my more “expensive” face (hey, ‘tis true, and on days like this, my routine starts with the La Mer route…)

L’Oreal True Match Foundation

My tried and true, inexpensive foundation option. Blends beautifully and looks just as natural as foundations double and triple the price.

Kiehl’s Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream (with SPF 50)

This looks dewy, so if you are very oily, you may not like it. I love it. If you live anywhere near Kiehl’s or a Kiehl’s counter, they are generous with samples and this sample lasted me about two weeks before I broke down and bought it. It does much more than a tinted moisturizer, and looks extremely natural.
