Korres Pomegranate Cleansing Wipes

Cleansing Wipes have become more boring than watching Anna Karenina. On a loop. Enter Korres Pomegranate Cleansing Wipes, which have reinvented the concept for the more discerning gal on the go.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser

Boscia is a company that crept up on me with all of their weird goodness– first it was that black peel off mask (AMAZINGNESS, I’m on my second tube) and now it’s the Detoxifying Black Cleanser. Right off the bat, let me say that there are a couple of things that are alarming. First, the odd black color– but don’t fret gals, because this disappears right away. Then, there’s the holy-moly-warming factor. OK… it’s freaking unbelievable.

La Mer Cleansing Foam

La Mer- so lovely, so softening, so rough on mama’s wallet. One product I will happily shell out for over and over again is The Cleansing Foam. I usually avoid things that bubble and squeak as a general rule, as my skin equates being clean as a whistle to flaky as hell. But, what’s this? My face felt softer than a cherub’s bum, not stripped as per usual with a foamy cleanser. Bonus? My face looked brighter and firmer than it had in a spell. La Mer – 1 big fat point. This stuff RULES.

Sometimes I’m such a snore. Like now. For a quick morning face wash, Cetaphil is it. Keep in mind I alwayssss wash my face at night, regardless of how much I drank, how tired I am, or whatever my work schedule or son might be doing to me at the time.

Viva Paper Towels

I am haunted by the imaginary dust particles that could have settled on aforementioned cloth, the residual detergent hiding deep in the denizens, and my fellow home-dwellers and/or guests who have touched my towel with More Info »

9 to 5 (Lush)

Don’t judge, gals. There was a period of time where my face didn’t see water for a good 30 days. Call it being “busy” if you will, or call it what it was- “Extreme Laziness”. Anyhoo- during that time, I kept a bottle of Lush’s 9 to 5 cleansing lotion by my bedside with some swisspers (and a bag of red Swedish Fish, but I digress…) and this was how I cleansed my skin each night before bed. It took all of 2 minutes, my skin was super soft (but not oily) and I experienced nary a blemish, despite these admittedly bad habits. (Still love the 9 to 5, tossed the Swedish Fish- much to my dentist’s delight…:)

Let The Good Times Roll

Popcorn cleanser. Those words don’t exactly inspire feelings of desire in your average Product Whore. But trust me when I say, I literally counted the days until this tingling, scrubby, brightening, all-natural gem from Lush hit the shelves again for the holidays. Avoid the urge to hoard masses of from Jan-Sept, it does go bad. Let The Good Times Roll, indeed. 😉
