Deborah Lippman Wicked Set

Any secret Glindas or Elphabas out there? Defy Gravity with Deborah Lippman’s GOOOORRGEOUS nail set inspired by Broadway’s Wicked.

Crème Abricot Nail Creme

The secret to pretty, pretty nails: Dior’s Crème Abricot Nail Creme is EVERYTHING. Slather this all over your fingers and cuticles, and you’ll be Vanna White-ing all over the place before you know it. Ultimate PW Confession: I’ve been know to pile this on my feet, too. #sorrynotsorry

Deborah Lippman Gel Lab

Imagine my delight upon discovering Deborah Lippman’s Gel Lab, a top and base gel coat system I can apply in the privacy of my own home, in my PJs, cuddled up with my dog, drinking a glass of shiraz

Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat

A realization I came to WAY late in my PW career: I need a stronger focus on my nails. Thankfully, I found Essie’s Ridge Filling Base Coat. Thankfully, I can wear it alone to look a little more, ahem, polished, or under a color. And, thankfully, it’s $8. My nails, and my PW cred, have been stronger ever since. 🙂

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil

Always in my medicine cabinet. Known to cure everything from ear infections to mosquito bites to zits to athlete’s foot. Epic. The smell is strong but clean. You get used to it. I’ll never get a pedicure without putting a few drops of it into the water. It’s a natural antiseptic and will help ward off potential lurking fungus. Yes, I get looks, but that doesn’t stop me. Why this brand? I like the clear bottle and it’s 100% pure Australian tea tree oil.

Tweezerman Cuticle Nipper

I have the self-control of a two-year old when it comes to hang nails and dangling cuticles. So these are always within reach at home.

Mirror Shine Top Coat (Sephora)

Gals, a Chipper like me needs all the protection she can get. Does Sephora’s Mirror Shine Top Coat ALWAYS, FOREVER and EVER protect against ANY chip and nick, EVER??!!! No. But it helps, and that’s all I was looking for. Plus, it’s 6 bucks, and mama’s not complaining about that!

Essie’s Fall 2013 Collection

WOW. These SOOOO need to be in my life right now. Check it- the Essie collection, Fall 2013. Winner of the the award for almost getting me out of my pajamas and out the door at 8:30pm(shut it)? “The Lace is On”. YES.

Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer (Marc Jacobs)

Something resembling common sense stopped me from collecting all of these gorg Marc Jacobs nail lacquers in my welcoming little arms and taking them to a very happy home. But having paid MJ many visits since his beauty line launched recently, things were getting pretty crowded on the shelves at home. I picked two beautiful colors (Glinda and Shocking), bonded with a fellow PW over our love of the new line, and called it a day. It did chip a little (but then, everything does on me) but in general, it’s a solid polish, and I love it for my toes. Score again, MJ!
