Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask

Other than Chipotle, Neutrogena’s Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask is my favorite way to spend $7. (Actually, Chipotle ends up being more…I always end up adding that dang guacamole…) The instructions say to use this after shampooing, but I like to do it on dry hair, before shampooing, and get all of your other business out of the way. And heck– go get your burrito afterward with your gorgeous hair, girl!

Happy Happy, Joy Joy

“Who smells so freaking good??” And so it went recently as I waited to buy my Q-tips at 11:30pm on a recent Tuesday evening. And so it will go every time I use this conditioner, Happy Happy, Joy Joy, from Lush. And with you, so run out immediately: this kind of attention = GOOD. The smell is intoxicatingly beautiful- it IS called hair PERFUME, after all.

Trichomania from Lush is made from creamed coconut, which is great for the hair, and is simple to use, once you get the hang of it. Wet your head, then rub, lather, rinse. Much less scary than the camping. :/

Amplify Wonder Boost Root Lifter

Apparently, my hairdresser had been using Amplify Root Lifter from Matrix for YEARS when blowing out my hair without my knowledge. Now, what am I doing during this time that’s so very important? Well, slurping down my coffee, occasionally dozing off, pouring over the latest Kardashian/North West drama, I suppose? Just recently, I looked up to check and see what was helping my blowouts last so long, and give me that extra body at the crown. Well this is it, and I now bring it to you. Now, back to the K’s. 🙂

Oribe Color Protecting Shampoo

Do you remember the moment when you resigned yourself that you’d be spending 30+ big ones for your haircare? Oh, and did I mention that’s just for ONE item? For me, that was when I purchased my first shampoo from Oribe- their Color Protecting Shampoo is pure silky yumminess- and keeps my hair from plummeting into brassy craziness.

Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray

Us Curly Haired Gals… we’ll just never have naturally perfect, shiny hair. And try as we might, it’s an uphill battle as we struggle with every product imaginable to obtain a sleek, healthy, light-reflecting look. Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray made my hair look kinda bling-y (!!!!), and also feel soft and manageable, thanks to an impressive amount of argan oil. This MAY have inspired a hair toss. 😉

Kerastase Root Uplifting Hair Gel

The Root Uplifting Hair Gel will make styling a breeze for any hair texture, for every style. The gel has so much lifting power you could rock a beehive, if you were so inclined. I just wanted a full, tousled look that would last all night, and this more than performed. Is it worth the money? I’m gonna have to go with yes on this one, PWs. Save your dough, it’s a worthy investment.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion

John Frieda really knows a gal. The price point is right, his products provide just the right amount of softening ingredients… and did I mention that the price is right?? The Luxurious Volume Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion is perfect for a blast of lift to set your ‘do with no stiffness.

CAROL’S DAUGHTER Monoi Repairing Hair Mask

She told me the most miraculous product she’d ever used was Carol’s Daugher Monoi Repairing Hair Mask, and that it had completely transformed her locks.

Sally Hershberger Glam Waves Texture Spray

Sally Hershberger Glam Waves Texture Spray- you’re an oldie, but a goodie. Oh, and you’re available at my local drug store whenever I feel a little of my surfer girl chic coming on.
